The beliefs of the PJ guy.

It’s important to let you know what the Pajama lifestyle really is about to me.

I start with a basic view that the world is topsy-turvy.  This is why the myth of “Go to school, get a good job, work real hard, and retire” is still prevalent.

The PJ lifestyle also acknowledges that other things are backwards as well:  The wrong people are in jail for the wrong reasons, the wrong people are in power for the wrong reasons.  Likewise, the wrong people are considered authorities when they are committing the acts of the greatest moral outrage.

The PJ lifestyle is non-militant but highly aggressive.  It’s an aggreesive advancement of all great truths and their opposites.  The PJ lifestyle is never for war. The PJ lifestyle is not confused by historic examples of fascism while missing those today.

The PJ lifestyle knows that systems are complex and that simple answers are rarely simple and never answers.  At the same time, the PJ lifestyle knows that simple actions have a ripple effect and are very complex.

The PJ lifestyle knows that there are disenfranchised people.  The PJ lifestyle doesn’t wax about doing it “for the children” or “minorities” or even “homosexuals”…

…but rather the PJ lifestyle is the birthright of the children, it is an insistent equalizer.  It seeks not to be ‘productive’ in the base sense of supporting the status quo…but rather destructive in the sense of a “Big Bang” bringing about everything, ever expanding.

The heroes of the PJ lifestyle are those who protest wars, march for equality, demand democracy, disobey orders from aristocrats and oligarchs.  The heroes are the mythic and the mundane who live a life unfettered and unable to be blackmailed.

Pick an injustice today…and live the PJ lifestyle.

Warmly,

Paulie Sabol

The Viral Villain Strikes Again - This time to your PDF files

What do Mike Filsaime, Michael Green, Jeff Mulligan, Simon Hodgkinson, Jo Han Mok, Mark Joyner and I have in common?

We use the same tool to brand viral PDF documents

Now branding documents used to require either a lot of the resources of a full time affiliate manager or giving up full control to your affilaites to change the source documents.

However, because of new, easy to use software you can:

Use unlimited, re-brandable links in your documents, so you can promote as many programs/products/services as you like!
Brand even eMail-Adresses!
Brand regular text!(”This eBook is sponsored by !”)
Set an expiration date on your PDF files! Asking the reader to visit your website for a newer version of your eBook.
Put your PDF eBooks on your website! Search Engines like Google or MSN will index these - and as we all know, Search Engines just love content!
NEW! Use ‘catch-all’ tags! If your affiliate doesn’t have a personal ID for any given program promoted in your eBook, the link will get branded with your ID! What this means for you is: No more lost sales!
Even use Acrobat’s “Base URL” feature, so you can hide your affiliate-links in your PDF files!

So you can see why this is being used by the best and brightest.  Before you go and check out the pdf brander, go ahead and post a comment about how you have seen a viral PDF used or how you can use it in an upcomming promotion.

Warmly,

Paulie Sabol

This weekend I was on a panel with the likes of Jeff Walker (Product Launch Formula Fame); Ken McAurthur (Info Product Blueprint Fame); Mike Filsaime, Tom Beal, & Donna Fox (The Other i5Gold Mentors), Ryan Kaltman (Part of the Rich Jerk Team), Tellman Knudson, Sterling Valentine (JV Formula Fame) and many others.

On this hot seat panel half of the websites presented were “interview compilations”

In case that concept is new to you, it’s where a product is created by interview experts just like myself and the other names above on some aspect of the business like list building, product creation, copywriting, etc.

In fact, Sterling Valentine’s JV Formula is an “Interview Product” (It just happens to be the best of the best and the new standard for anyone even trying to ender the game. However, even with that point maid, Jeff Walker first said and then all experts agreed, “Stop being the newbie and start being the expert.”

Everyone on that stage had their own products that focused on their strength. And I totally agree.

For example, Donna Fox is know for her involvement in i5Gold.com as one of the only women to have a high end coaching program (often described as the best value in coaching); however, she came to the team because of the Credit Millionaire Brand (her own set of products on businenss credit).

The same is true for everyone of the experts on that panel. We have our own products. And that’s why I’m personally endorsing Jeremy Burn’s and his limited run — what he calls Source Code — What I call “Forget the interview, make it about you” instant expert system.

You see, what you get is several products you can call you own, the rights to do so, the source files to customize even the look and feel of the products, and finally, the joys and success associated with your own product where when you sell it–it’s your money, in your PayPal, with your name, on your site.

Warmly,

Paulie Sabol

PS I really didn’t want to share this resource. I planned to use this instant product and credibility kit to establish a new information product of my own.

I know I would have been able to charge $997 to several hundred to a thousand people with the vision I made. However, because I wouldn’t be able to do that without those of you who visit and read my blog, I decided to change my game plan.

THE NEW PLAN

Step 1: Go ahead and get the instant credibility kit from this blog right now while you’re still reading.

Step 2: Email to me confirmation of your order to paulie @ pauliesabol . com

Step 3: Join me for a special call on how to become an expert with these products (historically only about 3.5 people in the 500 Jeremy allows in ever use this product the right way even though nearly 100% make money off it, they’re just leaving the riches behind to get a quick hit on the goldmine)

The NEW would you like fries with that?

Today I was looking at my Netflix movie queue and other account statistics and I saw a most amazing upsell.

Right next to the list of movies I have out (with no due dates) it read, “Get another movie for only $0.40 and we’ll send it Monday”  Then there was a link reading upgrade to *the plan name* now!

Can you say, “Would you like fries with that?” or even “Would you like the full sized for only…?”

Naturally I clicked.  (That means it was an effective offer)  However, my experience turned to a mixed one.  First, the offer on the actual page charged tax and didn’t break it “out” so I then see an order button for 42-cents.

I’m shocked how often a sales page online will have a value build and then add up all the numbers incorrectly!  And when you’re talking 2-cents error on a 40-cent purchase that’s still 5%!  (Yes, the amount of sales tax in my area)

All Netflix would need to do to keep me okay is break down the math and show me it’s tax.

Second, and this is brilliant if the user experience is handled better, Netflix is totally “Long Tailing” because that 40-cent offer was for the ‘rest of that month’s membership”.

That is, in about 3 days I’d be paying an extra $9-per-month for my upgrade.  But I can “START NOW” for pennies!

The problem was I didn’t understand that at the point of click.  The brilliance is, it lets them have “many” price points all month LONG!  Each day the upgrade becomes “less”.

This suggests to me a new use for those “nicklemania” scripts out there.  Rather than go up 5-cents every minute or every order…

…what about reducing the price of a ’start’ membership or ‘upgrade’ every day!

Warmly,

Paulie Sabol

PS I have a huge number of other things I want to share with you so keep coming back this week.

What to do when it takes money to make money?

Few things support the PJ lifestyle more than access to money for paying for outsourcing, out-tasking, contractors, employees, and partners!

However, a starting business often lacks the cash flow to support the team that will produce the greater income.

 And that’s quite a dilemma.

In my business experience, I’ve been able to weather some serious ups and downs because of the ability to borrow money.  Over the years, I’ve been able to have access to millions from private lenders, ‘hard money’ lenders, credit card issuers, banks, insurance companies, etc.

And the long and short of it is, the best option by far is the Credit Millionaire Money Loan.

This loan is perfect because it’s a no assets, no collateral, no documentation — “stated income loan”

Check out an article I submitted on the Internet about the “rules” for stated income to see if this could be the source of funding for you.

How about a little white lie on your loan? by Paulie Sabol

A stated income loan is offered to credit millionaires without proof of income.

Because stated income loans are granted on credit score alone, they’re often called liar loans as if you may stated any income required to get the loan.  However, false statement made to a lender is a federal crime so you must follow the rules of no-doc loans.

So, when you understand the rules, you can represent your income accurately and qualify without proving income.

This brings us to the four strategies for getting your stated income loan approved.

Strategy 1:  Be average.

You may state the average income for your industry and area without being asked to prove income.

In half of all cases this will allow you to raise the level of income you can state.

Strategy 2:  Be complete

Add in sources of income you’re not required to consider (such as alimony, etc).  This can be very significant because some sources of income are treated unequal.

For example, rental income is often discounted 25-percnet.  So if you collect $12,000 in annual rents, it is treated as only $750 per month or $9,000 in yearly income.

Likewise, you could have a phantom income or the like added in where you don’t get the money but you do honestly earn it.

This often results in a 10-25% increase to the stated income.

Strategy 3:  Be aggressive

You likely use the tax law for investors and entrepreneurs to show as little income as possible.

Lenders know this and allow you to add non-cash items from an income statement that entrepreneurs use to take advantage of being a business owner to reduce taxes.

For example, you may add to your income the portion of your home if used as primary office, portion or all of vehicle (difference is whether owned or leased), pension plan contributions, family ‘vacations’ surrounding a conference, etc.

This often results in a 35-55% increase in stated income.

Strategy 4:  Be fruitful

If you’re a true credit millionaire, you’re borrowing money to a make money.

Since lenders want to work with credit millionaires, you may add a reasonable and projected increased in your income which is a direct result of the borrowing.

So, if sales will grow from $400,000 last year to $800,000 this year because you get the loan, you would be able to double your commission based income and claim it to qualify for the loan.

Depending on how aggressively you project the result of getting the loan, you may use some or all of the growth.

With these four strategies you can access funds to grow your business without having a business plan, proving your income, or revealing all your assets.  For the private business owner and credit millionaire, this can be the difference between success and stagnation.

I’m offically the “Viral Villain”

While I personally prefer the term fractal marketing–viral marketing is here to stay.

First off, viral marketing is a more common image mostly sci-fi, mathematics, & science geeks know what fractals are.

Second, of course viral marketing and fractal marketing are here to stay because it works.

Because a part of this post is about me, I’d like to get you a gift for bothering to read.

Click on the image below to see a viral tool showing you how to increase your web visitors by 300% with only seconds to implement.   viral marketing solution  Now, all about me.

I’m pleased to state I was officially named the “Viral Villain” for my work and understanding of viral marketing strategies.

This designation was confirmed on my at a “Women’s Marketing” event.   In fact, part of my title came because I was the only male speaker invited to speak on the subject of effective marketing to women.  When the event host had a cancellation, I was there ready with my proof that viral marketing (or fractal marketing) works best and works in an entirely gender transparent way. This also expresses the principle of Woody Allen - 90-percent of success is just showing up.  To which I would add, when you show up, show up prepared.

When another attendee of the event asked me why I was being called a “Villain” (in the spirit of humble preparedness) I said, “Because I stole the show, of course.”

Now back to you…

Of course, the real reason you and I want to be viral marketing villains is because of all traffic we can get for free and that almost feels like you can steal from the big traffic cops like Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

If this is really our number 1 fear, this guy makes me quake in terror…

In the movie Coach Carter, the character played by Samuel L Jackson is fond of saying, an amazing quote.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be? Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure. We are born to make manifest great glory within us.

It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

With these words Coach Carter took a group of disenfranchised basketball players with some of the lowest academic standards and helped them become responsible, go to colleges of their choice, and become major leaders and business people.

We all know the importance of a coach, and today I want to tell you about a coach used by the top corporations in the world.  In fact, there’s no way you’ve not already experienced the power of this coach.

And I’m going to suggest ultimately you experience it directly in his new book.

Before I tell you about the book, let me explain to you his importance…

Pepsi paid one marketer $36 million to come up with one word… (and by the way when you buy the book at Amazon — and this isn’t even an affiliate link — I’ll tell you what that word is by emailing me at paulie at paulie sabol dot com)

Ben also created the campaign for Cingular which gave it the power and might to merge with AT&T — the roll over minute.

And know this, Ben is no “corporate hack” …again at Cingular, they were launching their Instant Messenger service and at the demo there were issues and it wasn’t working right and Ben asked, “So, do you still want to call it — Instant?”

Ben has also worked with companies like the Cliff Bar, Rolls Royce, and the GameWorks…to name just a few.

Think Two Products Ahead” is the revolutionary business book showing you how to have the power and branding of a company like Pepsi, Cingular, and Rolls Royce…without having their budget (well, yet at least because you may well have it after applying what he’s written).

By the way if you’re like me and would like to buy 100 copies for your team, don’t go to Amazon, go to www.bn.com

No matter if you buy 1 or 2 copies for yourself and a friend at Amazon or if you get a couple hundred at Barns and Nobles, be sure to buy this right away, as it will create a huge return on your investment and an even bigger result in you mind (which can never be taken away no matter what).

I will brainstorm and mastermind on your business…for free.

Many of you know I started my year in Mexico on a 10-day cruise along the Mexican Riviera.

For 10 days, me and about 4 dozen top tier online business owners played hard in the sun on jet skis in Manzanillo, enjoyed white water rafting down the cleanest river in Acapulco, Mexico (the Upper Popagyo), and …you may not even believe it… performed in a ship wide musical review.

Donna Fox played Gloria Estefan, Joel from www.timmehosting.com played Ricky Martin, I played Sir Elton John, and other “Top Secret” marketers played Garth Brooks and Aretha Franklin…

But what’s important right now is that…

…my friends had such an experience and advanced their business so far, so fast because of the power of the Mastermind formed and the brain storming conducted…

We’ve decided to do it for you for free.

I’ll do three businesses tonight, you may be picked by enrolling at www.pauliesabol.com/hotseat

I’ll be doing other businesses throughout January and February.  So go now and enroll now no matter when you’re reading this.

Warmly,

Paulie Sabol

PS www.pauliesabol.com/hotseat is the place to enroll and think about it, based on what we do for you there, you just might be on next years cruise–live.

The battle of the sexes is won?

I read a marketing report at www.nogirlz.com which demonstrated that the battle of the sexes has been won …at least in such a way that when you “knock on the door” you’ll find a marketing report which can help you grow your business 566% almost overnight (or it might be more accurate to say — oversight, because that’s why you’re missing this nearly 6-times growth of your business)

Two non-”Marketing” examples of viral videos…

New Year’s Prediction #1.

If you’re not using web based video ASAP you’re you might as well RIP.

Two of the most interesting examples of “Viral” video I see that have a clear marketing message (but are not examples of marketing, marketing or even marketing, “Make Money” — well at least sort of :)   as you’ll see) are…

#1 most provocative and innovative example can be seen at the Blasphemy Challenge.  This is a YouTube.com derivative site offering you a “FREE” DVD.  Now we’ve all learned there no such thing as a FREE LUNCH…and usually the cost of such “FREE” things is being marketed to or sharing your personal email address.

In the case of the Blasphemy Challenge–the price for the FREE CD is your mortal soul.

Check it out and pay very close attention to the media coverage.

#2  I’ve seen many examples on MySpace.com recently such as the request to “Elizabethian” your website for the movie.  However, my award goes to a non-MySpace.com example…

And you may recall I said “Non-make money” examples.  Well in this case there’s a prize of an up to $20,000 gift.  Check it out the Robinhood Fund.

Now I may follow up with more posts if you’re interested; however, show me by posting comments about your thoughts on these two examples.  Please do not post thoughts on the “application” in other words, I don’t care if you think the Blasphemy Challenge is …well… blasphemous and they owners should “repent”.

Rather tell me how it expands your views of marketing with video.

Warmly,

Paulie Sabol
